Game Spotlight: Destiny: Rise of Iron

In this week's Game Spotlight we'll be taking a look at Rise of Iron, the fourth expansion to Destiny. Rise of Iron has officially been released to the masses of guardians who have been anxiously awaiting its arrival. Encase you're not familiar with Rise of Iron, here's a little bit about the back story.

The story of Rise of Iron follows Lord Saladin, the last of the the Iron Lords. Lord Saladin seeks the help of guardians everywhere as the Fallen have breached the walls of the southern border of Russia. In doing so the Fallen discovered a new nano technology called SIVA. Through the discovery and use of SIVA, the Fallen have created new weapons and even a new breed of Fallen known as Devil Splicers. It's up to players to help Lord Saladin in discovering the history of the Iron Lords, defeat the new evil inside the Plaguelands, and become a new Iron Lord.

The Rise of Iron expansion adds more new content to Destiny such as:

• New story missions and cinematics
• A new six-player raid
• A new strike mission
• The new social space Felwinter Peak
• The new zone called The Plaguelands
• Light level increase
• New weapons and armor
• New Crucible maps and Supremacy mode
