Destiny 2: Beyond Light Expansion News!

Rejoice Guardians! Bungie officially revealed details for the upcoming expansion to Destiny 2 known as Beyond Light. Take a look at the quick and concise list of what was shared during the online event regarding the new expansion and other information.

• Destiny 2: Beyond Light expansion launches September 22, 2020.
• The Beyond Light expansion takes players to the frozen moon of Jupiter, Europa.
• A new elemental power known as Stasis will be introduced.
• A new six person raid taking place in the Deep Stone Crypt will be in the expansion.
• Preorders are available now and grant access to a exotic Ghost Shell, Legendary Emblem, and other items. 
• The digital deluxe edition of the expansion includes the annual pass (four seasons of content, Freeze Tag Exotic Emote, No Time to Explain Exotic Pulse Rifle with catalyst and ornament, and the Any Other Sky Exotic Sparrow.  
• Anyone who already owns Destiny 2 will be able to upgrade to the PS5 or Xbox Series X version for free.
• Any expansions that you own will carry over to the PS5 or Xbox Series X version for free.
• Destiny 2 will run at 4K and 60fps on both PS5 and Xbox Series X.
• Cross play between console families (Xbox Series X to Xbox One) and (PS5 to PS4) will be available at launch with the hopes that full cross-play between all consoles will arrive in the next year or so.
