Weekly Wrap Up! (1/27/18)
- The survival game Rust will finally be coming out of Early Access on Steam beginning February 8. However, the game will still not be in its final state as more development, updates, and fine tuning will continue. The game's price will also increase from $19.99 to $34.99.
- Rocket League will be adding cross-platform party support sometime in 2018 according to the game's support page on Twitter. No specific date on the cross-platform party support has been given at this time.
- It was announced that the original SteamWorld Dig will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on February 1, and will cost $9.99. This news comes after the successful release of SteamWorld Dig 2 on the Switch this past fall.
- Enjoy Dynasty Warriors style combat? Love Star Wars? So does developer Koei Tecmo. The president of Koei Tecmo stated that he'd still love to see a Star Wars "Dynasty Warriors" style action game, and would love the company to create it.

- Atari launched a crowdfunding campaign in order to bring a new RollerCoaster Tycoon to the Nintendo Switch. The campaign is seeking to reach between $10,000 and $1.07 million.
- PUBG Corp. (developer of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds) announced that they will donate $2 million to gaming charities this year.
- Twitch announced their latest free Twitch Prime game offering is Double Fine's Headlander. The game is free for anyone who has a Twitch Prime account, which can be obtained if you have an Amazon Prime membership.
- Microsoft announced that all games from Microsoft Studios will be available on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service on the same day as release, starting with Sea of Thieves.
- The free Xbox Games With Gold titles for the month of February were announced this week. On the Xbox One, players can download Shadow Warrior and Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India. On the Xbox 360, players can download Crazy Taxi and Split/Second. As always, the Xbox 360 titles are backwards compatible on Xbox One.
- An official release date for the new God of War was announced for April 20, and a new story trailer accompanied the release date. Check it out!
- A standalone version of South Park: The Stick of Truth will be made available on the Xbox One and PS4 on February 13 for $30.
- Obsidian announced that their awaited RPG Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire will officially release on April 13.

This reward is for the Xbox version of the game reaching over 4 million players. In order to get the free battle points, you must have purchased the game and made a character by January 31, and the battle points will appear on February 1.

- Ubisoft revealed that the fifth season of new content for For Honor will begin on February 15. Known as the Age of Wolves, the new season of content will see new balancing updates to heroes, new progression system for gear, new reputation level cap, dedicated servers, and more.
