Weekly Wrap Up! (9/3/16)
- Nintendo revealed a new galaxy themed Nintendo 3DS model. The new model is available now in North America and retails for $200.
- Fans of Forza Horizon and Halo will be excited to know that the iconic Warthog from the Halo series will be playable in Forza Horizon 3. The Warthog will be available at launch and free to anyone who has played either Halo 5: Guardians or The Master Chief Collection.
- More Nintendo NX rumors are surfacing and stating that the NX will feature a share button similar to the PS4. The share button supposedly will let players upload photos and videos to Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Miiverse.
- Developer Polyphony Digital announced that Gran Turismo Sport has been delayed until sometime in 2017. It was originally planned to release this November.
- A gigantic update for Ark: Survival Evolved was released this week on PC and Xbox One. The "Scorched Earth" expansion pack added a new desert area, weapons, tools, creatures, and more. The expansion costs $19.99.
- The newly released background music support feature for Xbox One has now added the ability to listen to music through Pandora while playing games or other activities.
- Gearbox Software announced Duke Nukem 3D 20th Anniversary Edition World Tour will release on October 11 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The anniversary edition will include a remastered version of the original game and a new eight level fifth episode.
- The first batch of DLC for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will release on September 23. Titled "System Rift" the DLC will see Adam Jensen and Frank Pritchard searching to find out more about the mysterious Santeau Group. The System Rift DLC is part of the game's season pass or costs $12 on its own.
- A multiplayer beta for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be released first for the PS4 on October 14. It's presumed the beta will arrive on other platforms sometime after October 14.
- The Steam release for Quantum Break has been delayed a couple weeks and will now release on September 29.
- EVE Online will go free-to-play beginning this November. Players who continue to pay the monthly fee will be deemed Omega clones and have complete access to everything the game offers. Players who aren't paying the subscription will be known as Alpha clones and will have restriction to some skills in the game.
- The free Games with Gold were announced for September. The Xbox One gets Earthlock: Festival of Magic, WWE 2K16, and Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China. The Xbox 360 gets Mirror's Edge and Forza Horizon.
- The physical edition of Hitman will release on January 31, 2017. It's called Hitman: The Complete First Season, and will include all locations from Season 1 such as: Prologue, France, Italy, Morocco, Thailand, Japan, and USA.
- Respawn Entertainment is keeping the Titanfall 2 hype going by releasing a new trailer showing more of the new Titans.
- Within about five and a half hours of the latest World of Warcraft expansion (Legion) releasing, someone already hit the max level of 110.
- The free PlayStation Plus games for the month of September was announced earlier this week. The PS4 will get Lords of the Fallen and Journey. The PS3 will get Datura and Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. Finally, the PS Vita will get Amnesia: Memories and Badland.

- Telltale announced that episode two of the Batman: The Telltale Series will release on September 20 on Xbox One, PS4, and the PC.
- In more Titanfall 2 news, Respawn Entertainment announced that the map Angel City that was from the original game will be part of the game's first DLC. Anyone who pre-orders the game will get three days of early access to the map, and then it will become free for everyone else. Also, all Titanfall 2 DLC will be free.
