Game Spotlight: ReCore

In this week's Game Spotlight we're taking a look at ReCore. ReCore is a brand new IP from Keiji Inafune, the character designer and producer of Mega Man, and the developers of Metroid Prime. In ReCore you play as Joule Adams and your one of the last surviving humans on Earth after a disaster. You travel to a the world of Far Eden in order to help reestablish mankind. Far Eden was developed as a utopia, yet when you arrive you see things haven't gone as planned.

With the help from Joules robot or "corebot" companions, players will take part in a third person, platforming, action adventure to discover the secrets of Far Eden and save humanity. Each corebot has a unique personality and abilities to help Joule venture across Far Eden. While defeating enemies and scouring the land, players will be able to craft new components to upgrade the corebots. Also, the sandstorms on Far Eden will reshape the landscape and unveil new areas and challenges for players.

ReCore is also the first game as part of the Xbox Anywhere program which means anyone who purchases the game digitally on Xbox can also play it on their Windows 10 PC and vice versa. ReCore is available now on Xbox One and PC.
