Weekly Wrap Up! (8/20/16)
- Square Enix confirmed that Final Fantasy XV has been delayed until November 29 in order to further polish the game and eliminate the need for a big day one patch.
- The PlayStation exclusive content for the Rise of Iron expansion was revealed. Destiny players on the PS4 will get an extra Crucible map, mission, and a special ship unlocked from completing the exclusive mission.
- Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition is now supported with the Oculus Rift headset.
- Nuka-World, the final expansion for Fallout 4, has been given a release date of August 30 as well as a new trailer.
- The open beta for Battlefield 1 will begin on August 31 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. DICE also revealed a new trailer to get everyone hyped!
- Respawn Entertainment announced that the Titanfall 2 beta will not be on PC and that the beta is exclusive to the Xbox One and PS4.
- EA revealed at Gamescom that the Star Wars Battlefront VR mission will be themed based on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
- Another edition of Destiny will be released on September 20 for the Xbox One and PS4. Known as Destiny: The Collection, the edition will include all previously released content, the new Rise of Iron expansion, and a one time character level boost item. Destiny: The Collection will cost $60.
- The PC horror game Dead by Daylight is getting some free DLC in an upcoming update. Known as the "Last Breath" expansion, it will add a new monster (the nurse), new map, and a new survivor. Check out the trailer below.
- The old school Metroid-like indie game Axiom Verge is finally releasing for the Wii U on September 1.
- At Gamescom, Bungie stated that they are working on ways to add and improve vault space in Destiny, but no specifics were given.
- Forza Horizon 3 will feature a new weekly challenge/competition feature called Forzathon beginning in October. In game prizes will be rewarded such as new cars.
- Ubisoft announced the collector's edition of For Honor that will be sold exclusively through Uplay. The collector's edition includes replicas of the knight, samurai, and viking helmets on a wooden stand, soundtrack, lithography, digital deluxe pack, season pass, and of course the game itself. No price has been given at this time.
- Microsoft revealed that new game will be playable on both the Xbox One and Xbox Scorpio, except for VR titles. VR titles will be exclusive to the Xbox Scorpio due to the Xbox One not being capable of supporting VR. Microsoft also added that any games or accessories bought for the Xbox One or Xbox One S will be compatible with Xbox Scorpio.
- The PS4 beta for Nioh arrives on August 23 through September 6, and allows those who play the beta a chance to unlock two pieces of DLC for the full game.
- Respawn Entertainment revealed that they are aiming for a smooth 60 FPS for Titanfall 2, but no comments were made regarding the resolution.

- The Game Preview program that has been on Xbox One will be making it's way onto Windows 10 later this year.
- Below has been delayed again. Developer Capybara Games stated they need extra time to polish the game and make sure it's up to standards, and they have not given a new release date at this time.
- Square Enix released the launch trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. You can get your augmented hands on the game next week on August 23 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
