Game Spotlight: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
What more can be said about the Uncharted series other than each game has been a continuous amazing ride of action, unforgettable characters, intriguing dialogue, and gorgeous and deadly environments. Developer Naughty Dog certainly knows how to develop high quality games and true engaging experiences and they have done it again with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
The latest game in the series brings us to years after the events of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Nathan Drake has tried to live a somewhat normal and low key live, but his brother Sam arrives and desperately needs Nathan's help. Of course there's the chance for an amazing and dangerous adventure as well. The adventure this time revolves around the search for Captain Henry Avery's long lost treasure and the pirate colony known as Libertalia. The story will take players across locations such as Madagascar and Scotland and fans of the series can expect puzzles, firefights, and other hidden treasures.
After you've completed the amazing single player story campaign, Uncharted 4 offers players some multiplayer action too. Similar to multiplayer in other Uncharted games, players can take the role of various characters from the game and find treasure within maps to unlock different customizations, items and weapons. Players can also equip special mystical powers that can boost players' abilities. Even better, all future maps and game modes for multiplayer will be free, and while cosmetic items can be purchased through the in game store, they can also be unlocked through gameplay. Multiplayer features various game modes such as team deathmatch, ranked matches, command (capture points), and plunder which has players grabbing an idol and running it back to their teams treasure chest.
Naughty Dog has already talked about future updates and additions to the game's multiplayer from launch through Spring 2017 which includes new game modes, weapons, character skins, vanity items, and mystic abilities. So what are you waiting for? Strap on your favorite treasure hunting and adventure seeking outfit and go play it now! Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is available now on the PS4.
