Weekly Wrap Up! (1/9/15)


- Naughty Dog officially confirmed that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will have multiplayer.

- If you're a fan of animatronic horror you'll be happy to know that Five Nights at Freddy's 3 is in development but no official release date or other info has been released.

- In a recent interview, Shigeru Miyamoto hinted that side quests/activities will be present in the upcoming open world Legend of Zelda game for the Wii U stating that, "There may even be times where you forget what your goal is because you're doing other things on the side."

- Sony announced that starting January 13 on the PS4, a subscription to PlayStation Now will cost $20 a month or $45 for three months. As of now PS Now offers access to 100 PS3 titles and more games will be added in the future, and from other Sony consoles.


- A new game development studio called Big Bad Wolf has opened up and will be focused on creating RPGs. The studio contains some developers from Ubisoft and Blizzard Entertainment. Big Bad Wolf is teasing a currently in development game for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC on their website.

- Sony revealed that PlayStation 4 sales have reached over 18.5 million worldwide, and that almost 11 million people have signed up for PlayStation Plus.

- The free PlayStation Plus games for the month of January are now available to download. On the PS4 players can get Infamous: First Light and The Swapper. On the PS3 players can get Prototype 2 and Ducktales Remastered. Finally the PS Vita gets Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition and Whoa Dave!

- The first batch of DLC for Assassin's Creed Unity will release next week on January 13. The Dead Kings DLC takes place after the events of Unity in the city of Saint Denis. The DLC is free to everyone due to the launch issues of Assassin's Creed Unity.



- Developer CD Projekt Red said that their game Cyberpunk 2077 is still in development, but they are focusing on finishing up The Witcher 3 for its May 19 release date.

- Ninja Theory's upcoming game Hellblade will now release on both the PS4 and PC. It was originally a PS4 exclusive game. There has been no word on when Hellblade will release though.

- Developer Zombie Studios is closing its doors. Members from Zombie Studios have created a new company known as Builder Box, and have acquired the rights to certain Zombie Studios franchises such as Blacklight: Retribution.

- It was confirmed that a playable version of the new Star Fox Wii U game will be available at E3 this year.  

- Turtle Rock Studios announced that Evolve has officially gone gold and is ready for it's scheduled February 10 release date. Also, the Xbox One exclusive open beta is set to start January 15 and ends on January 19.
