Weekly Wrap Up! (10/25/14)
- The details of Far Cry 4's season pass has been revealed. The season pass will contain a new multiplayer mode and single player and co-op missions such as escaping and fighting Yetis! The season pass will cost $30.
- A special photo mode will be included in the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. Players will be able to pose the character trophies they've earned to show off to everyone. The Wii U version of the game will also contain a board game and stage builder mode. Super Smash Bros. Wii U will be available November 21.
- Bungie announced that they are working on a patch to fix the Vault of Glass raid in Destiny. The upcoming patch will not allow players to be able to knock the boss Atheon off the cliff. The patch will release next week.
- A Call of Duty Clan Wars app will release on November 3 for iOS, Android, Windows, and Kindle devices. The app will allow clans to participate in special events to unlock exo clan wars gear sets, manage active rosters, create and edit clan emblems, and more.
- Sony has released yet another great PlayStation 4 commercial highlighting some of this year's most popular and upcoming games. Take a look at it below.
- Shadow of Mordor got some free DLC this week. The Power of Shadow DLC contains three new runes with special abilities and the option to play as the Black Hand of Sauron.
- Nintendo announced that Hyrule Warriors will support the upcoming Link Amiibo figure. No word on if the Zelda or other Amiibo figures will be supported in the game.
- Microsoft revealed the features for the Xbox One system update in November. The update will feature customizable backgrounds, the ability to directly share gameplay footage on Twitter, live TV app updates, a more organized store in the marketplace, and more.
- Indie developer Red Barrels have confirmed that they are indeed working on Outlast 2. While no release date has been confirmed, Red Barrels have said Outlast 2 will take place in the same universe as Outlast but with a different setting and characters.
- Telltale's The Walking Dead season one and two are now available for Xbox One and PS4 both digitally and in retail stores in North America. The two seasons will release on October 31 in Europe.

- Blizzard announced that they have delayed the iPhone and Android phone version of Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft until early 2015 in order to refine the game more.
- The first DLC for Mario Kart 8 is set to release next month. The DLC will feature the return of Yoshi's Circuit race track, new racers, and new vehicles. The DLC will cost $8.
- Respawn released the next big update for Titanfall this week. In addition to a variety of fixes, updates to burn cards, ranked matches, and more, three new game modes were added. In the Frontier Defense mode, up to four players will work together to defeat waves of enemies. Marked for Death Pro functions the same as the regular mode but each round is set to single eliminations. Finally, in the Deadly Ground mode, the ground of maps are covered in an electrified fog which forces players to stay above the ground.
- Halo fans can get a glimpse of Halo 5: Guardian's multiplayer mode, beta footage, developer interviews, and the first episode of Halo: Nightfall during Halo Fest on November 10 at 8:00 p.m. PST. You can catch all this on either xbox.com or twitch.tv/halo. Microsoft will also be showing footage of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on November 8-9.
- Microsoft released a new trailer for the digital series Halo: Nightfall. Encase you weren't familiar with it, Halo: Nightfall bridges the gap between Halo 4 and Halo 5:Guardians and features the new protagonist Agent Locke. Check out the trailer below!
