Most Anticipated of E3 2014

E3 2014 is almost here and once again I cannot wait for it. I love watching the press conferences, game reveals, demos, and other gaming announcements. Here's a rundown of the games I'd like to see and that I'm most excited for, as well as what I expect to see at Sony's and Microsoft's press conferences.

Microsoft Press Conference:

Since the Xbox One console itself was a big focus of Microsoft's press conference last year, this year should be and needs to be all about the games. Microsoft needs to show people why they should own a Xbox One, and continue to support those who already own one. Phil Spencer and Major Nelson have already commented that they are focused on the games. In fact, the press conference is called Xbox: Game On. I'm sure they will make mention that people can now buy the Xbox One without the Kinect even though it was announced several weeks ago. It's pretty much a guarantee that Halo 5: Guardians will be shown off and they may even reveal more of Steven Spielberg's Halo television series. It will also be cool if they show off the new Gears of War game. I'm really anxious to see what games they show off that haven't already been announced.

Sony Press Conference:

Just like Microsoft, Sony's press conference last year was centered on the reveal and information on the PlayStation 4. It's no surprise that the PS4 has sold very well and it's safe to say Sony will make note of that and continue to build on that momentum at their press conference. Sony will no doubt focus heavily on their exclusive games as well as continuing to show their support to indie game developers. I'm expecting the new Uncharted game to be revealed during their conference and that is completely fine with me. While I don't expect anything to be revealed, it would be cool to see gameplay of The Last Guardian, and for Sony to announce it's coming to the PS4. Sony has commented that there will be plenty of games shown and I am excited to see what hidden games they have up their sleeves.
