Weekly Wrap Up! (4/25/14)

- BioWare revealed the box art for Dragon Age Inquisition (shown above).

- Two new Sony IPs were discovered recently. The new IPs were games trademarked with the names Entwined and Kill Strain. No word on if these games are PlayStation 4 exclusives or will be available on other Sony platforms.

- Naughty Dog art director Nate Wells left the company to work for developer Giant Sparrow.

- Ubisoft announced that the Assassin's Creed series has reached 73 million in sales since the first game released in 2007.

- The once console exclusive content for Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes will be available to all consoles for free via and update on May 1.  

- GameStop has listed The Walking Dead: Game of the Year Edition for the PS4 on their site and is priced at $29.99. Just like the other GOTY editions available, it's thought the PS4 version will include the game's first season, the 400 Days DLC, soundtrack, and a behind the scenes video.

- The free games for PlayStation Plus member for the month of May have been announced. For the PS3 players can get Puppeteer, Skullgirls Encore, and Pro Evolution Soccer 2014. The PS Vita will get Surge Deluxe and Limbo. Finally, the PS4 will get Stick it to the Man.
 
- Need more Dragon Age goodness? BioWare released a new gameplay trailer for Dragon Age Inquisition and announced the game will release on October 7.


- An image that was leaked from the PlayStation Now beta shows that games will be available to rent for 1, 7, or 30 days. No pricing has been mentioned as of now.

- The game Mad Max has been delayed until sometime in 2015.

- Microsoft announced that the Xbox One will release in Japan on September 4.

- Crytek's downloadable free to play (for Xbox Gold subscribers) shooter Warface officially released on the Xbox 360.

- Sony Online Entertainment said that their zombie MMO H1Z1 will not have performance enhancing or boost items in the game for players to purchase.

- The Duel of Fates DLC for Ryse: Son of Rome was released this week. The DLC includes two new arena maps, a new survival map, and two new gladiator outfits.

- Phil Spencer confirmed via Twitter that the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft will transfer saves to the Xbox One edition. Likewise, the PS3 edition of Minecraft will transfer saves to the PS4 edition.

- Sony confirmed that the 1.70 update for the PS4 will arrive on April 30.

- Namco Bandai released a new trailer for their upcoming action rpg Lords of the Fallen. The game is set to release this fall for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
