There have been several Lord of The Rings games. Some have been decent while others have not. Monolith Productions is setting out to make the best LOTR game yet with Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. You'll play as the ranger Talion set to guard the Black Gate of Mordor. When you are almost killed you are saved by a spirit and become half human and half wraith. No official release date has been announced, but Monolith Productions released a video full of gameplay goodness. Even though it's still in early development, the game is looking awesome!
