Game Reveal: Wolfenstein: The New Order

If you're a fan of fps games then you have to have played or at least heard of Wolfenstein 3D. If you haven't played or heard of it, do yourself a favor and look it up and find a way to play it! Wolfenstein 3D debuted on the PC back in 1992 and is credited with helping start the fan base and love of the fps genre. I can remember booting up the MS-DOS file and thinking that the graphics were so awesome. There have been several additions to the series, including the most recent 2009 release simply called Wolfenstein

Now a brand new entry into the series has officially been announced. Wolfenstein: The New Order is being published by Bethesda Softworks and developed by MachineGames. The game takes place in a alternate 1960 where the Nazi forces have won World War II. Players will once again take the role of the series' hero William "B.J." Blazkowicz. Wolfenstein: The New Order is set to release in late 2013 for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and next gen consoles. Check out the announcement trailer below!

*UPDATE: The developers have said that the game will not feature any multiplayer modes, and that they are focusing on single player only.
