Weekly Wrap Up! (11/16/12)

- Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 made $500 million in worldwide sales in just the first 24 hours. This of course beats out Modern Warfare 3 which made $400 million last year, and also makes Black Ops 2 the highest selling video game. Also, GameStop sold more than 1 million copies during their midnight sales.

- Microsoft has announced that Halo 4 made $220 million in sales in the first 24 hours of release and that more than four million people played Halo 4 in the first five days of release.

- Gearbox has just announced the next installment of DLC for Borderlands 2. The DLC titled Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage will be released on November 20th. This will include new areas, achievements, missions, and more. The DLC will cost $9.99, or if you purchased the Borderlands 2 season pass it will be included.

- Nintendo has pushed back the release of video streaming apps (Netflix, Hulu Plus, You Tube, and Amazon Instant Video) to the coming weeks after the Wii U's November 18th launch. The TVii service will be released sometime in December.  

- Sony has announced some PS Vita bundle deals for the holidays. You can pick up the PS Vita bundles that include either Assassins Creed III: Liberation, Lego Batman 2: DC Superheros, or Black Ops Declassified for $200 (down from $250). The Assassins Creed Vita bundle is sold at Amazon and GameStop. The Lego Batman 2 Vita bundle is sold at Target, and the Black Ops Declassified bundle is sold at Best Buy.

- 343 Industries has announced that the third episode in the Spartan Ops online mode will be released on Monday, November 19th.  

- Bethesda has released more information for the next Skyrim DLC called Dragonborn. In this DLC you will learn a new dragon shout that allows you to tame dragons and actually fly them. You will also be able to get new weapons, armor, defeat new enemies, and of course get more quests. The Dragonborn DLC will be available on December 4th for 1600 Microsoft Points.
