Wii U release date, pricing, and more!

Nintendo has finally announced the release dates, pricing details, and other information for the Wii U. So let's get to it! The Wii U will be released in North America on November 18th, in Europe on November 30th, and in Japan on December 8th.

There will be two different editions of the console, which are known as the basic and premium models. The basic model features a 8GB of memory, a gamepad, console, sensor bar, AC adapter, and a HDMI cable. The premium model comes with everything the basic has except you get 32GB of memory, a charging cradle/stand for the console and gamepad, Nintendo Land, and a premium subscription to Nintendo Network which gives you discounts on online game purchases. The basic model will cost $299.99 and the premium model will cost $349.99
Nintendo also announced their service "Nintendo TVii." The service will be part of the Wii U and the touch screen gamepad and acts as a way to interact with television shows and movies. You will also be able to use the gamepad to control your DVR to set favorites, record shows, and more. Media services like Netflix, Hulu, Tivo, and Amazon Video have been announced as part of the Nintendo TVii service. The best thing about this is it's included in every Wii U purchase. So you don't have to pay anything extra for it.

Some games that have been announced for the Wii U include: Black Ops 2, Bayonetta 2, Aliens Colonial Marines, Assassins Creed III, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Darksiders 2, Mass Effect 3, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, and more.

Expect to get more information in the days and weeks to come. So now that this information has been released, what do you think of Nintendo's newest console? Do you plan on getting one at launch? Which model will you get?
