Weekly Wrap Up! (5/18/12)
- Gearbox Software has released details of the special editions of
Borderlands 2. The deluxe Vault Hunter edition will have a Marcus
Kincaid bobble head, making of dvd, stickers, map of Pandora, digital
comic, and in game downloads. This will cost you $100. For the
Borderlands fanboys, you can get the Ultimate Loot Chest edition (shown above) for
$150. This includes all the deluxe edition items, plus a replica of the
red chests, steel game case, creature ID chart, cloth map, special set
of postcards, and a official page for authenticity certification. Whew!
That's a ton of collector stuff. Start saving!
- Don't
have a copy of Skyrim yet? Shame on you! However, you can download the
digital version of the game now on the Xbox 360 games on demand market.
Just make sure you have at least 3.68 GB of free space on your hard
drive for the download.
- The limited edition for Halo 4
was announced and is available for pre-order. The limited edition comes
in a special case, and contains the ability to unlock six
specializations for multiplayer early, a special 90 minute version of
Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, and nine new maps that will be released in
three waves after the release. The limited edition will cost $100. Also, check out the box art for the game below!

Sony will soon allow people to download games before the actual
release. Players will be able to pay for the game, and download it from
the PSN Store. Then once the game is officially released they will be
able to play the game. The first game to have this new download option
will be Sorcery, which comes out May 22nd.
- The Metal Gear
Solid HD Collection will be released for the PS Vita on June 12th. The
PS Vita version will only include Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3.

Ubisoft will be releasing a private multiplayer beta for their upcoming
game Far Cry 3 sometime this summer. The beta will only be available
for consoles, and only 500 invites are going to be sent out at this
time. How do you get an invite? Buy a copy of Ghost Recon: Future
Soldier or "Like" Ubisoft's Facebook page. The beta will include six
classes and 16 player matches on a number of maps and modes. The beta
will last for two weeks.
- Sony has announced that Sly
Cooper: Thieves in Time will not only be released for the PS3, but also
on the PS Vita! It will be a direct port of the PS3 version, but will
include motion controls and other touch sensitive options. No release
date has been announced as of now.
