Weekly Wrap Up! (4/13/12)
- A platinum edition of Resident Evil 6 is available on the Japanese Capcom eStore for a whopping $1,240! The reason for this price is that it contains a real leather jacket that is a replica of the one Leon wears in the game. There is a limit of only 5,000 units so if you love Resident Evil, leather jackets, and have extra money order it now!
- Gearbox announced a new playable character for their upcoming game Borderlands 2. The character is known as the mechromancer, and developers have stated that the character will be available 60 to 90 days after Borderlands 2 is released. The good news is if you pre-order the game you will get the character for free. If not, you will have to pay to unlock the new character class.
- Capcom has announced a release date of October 2 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 version of Resident Evil 6. The PC version will be released soon after. As of now Capcom has said they have no plans to release the game on the Wii U.
- Rumors are reporting that developers have received development kits of the next Xbox. The rumors state that the next Xbox contains a 16 Core IBM CPU. That's a lot of power!
- The Resurgence Pack was released this week for Mass Effect 3. The dlc adds two new maps, six characters, three weapons, and four new enhancements. This freshen up Mass Effect 3's multiplayer a little and best of all...it's free! Also starting April 13th through April 16th people who download the Resurgence pack can take part in "Operation Resurgence." This gives PC and Xbox 360 players an extra 10% to experience and a reserves pack that will unlock one of the alien classes.
