Get ready treasure hunters! Borderlands 2 has an official release date and a sweet new trailer too. Gearbox Software's crazy looting and bazillion gun having series is back. This time the game features new characters, environments, skills, vehicles, and of course more guns! The fantastic cell shaded art style is still in tact and it looks like the second game is going to be better than the first. If you haven't played Borderlands you can get if for cheap and it's a great game. Plus it has some excellent dlc to download for even more fun. Just like the first Borderlands, the second will have four player co-op and even split screen play. Get your pre-orders in and get ready to collect all those crazy guns people. Borderlands 2 is scheduled to release on September 18th in North America, and September 21st elsewhere for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Check out the awesome launch trailer below!
