- New dlc for Resistance 3 has been released. The "Brutality Pack" is a two player co-op mode where you fight wave after wave of enemies. You will also get access to the mighty sledgehammer to dispose of those nasty Chimera. Not enough for you? This dlc also features music from the metal band Mastodon. This can all be yours for the low price of $3.99 in the Playstation Store.
- Epic has confirmed the announcement of a brand new game during the Video Game Awards this weekend. Epic has said it has nothing to do with the Gears of Wars series and it something completely different. The VGA will be broadcasted on Spike TV, December 10th.
- Gaming service OnLive has now added the ability to play high definition games on a range of smart phones and tablets. The update comes as part of their app for the iOS and Android market.
- Microsoft has released the official Xbox Live app on iOS devices. The app is called My Xbox Live and allows users to view achievements, videos, send messages to friends, and even edit their avatars. Best of all, it's free!
- Gamers who pre-ordered the mmo Star Wars: The Old Republic will be able to play the game a week before its release. E-mails will be sent to gamers who have redeemed their pre-order codes in the order the codes were redeemed. So unless you were the very first person to pre-order and redeem the code you may have to wait a little bit.
- Duke Nukem Forever is getting some new dlc soon. The dlc pack called "The Doctor Who Cloned Me" will include four multiplayer maps and a single player story mission. If this sounds awesome then it can be yours on December 13th for $10.00 or 800 Microsoft points.
