Gaming Spotlight: Dead Island. A zombie's paradise!

     On this week's vlog I'm going to showcase a game that is being released in just a couple weeks. It seems that zombies have infected books, movies, television, and video games. There are several good zombie games on the market such as Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, Dead Rising 1 and 2, and of course all of the Resident Evil games. It doesn't look like the zombie train is leaving town anytime soon because the good people over at Techland have created what looks like a very fun zombie survival game. In Dead Island you are on the island of Banoi. You can play as one of four survivors of a horrible zombie outbreak. Dead Island is focused on strong melee combat and you can find a wide variety of weapons (including some guns). 

     The game incorporates rpg elements like skill trees, xp/leveling system, and even the ability to craft weapons. Don't feel like fighting the hordes of undead alone? Don't worry because there's also four player co-op! Dead Island looks like it will push the boundaries of the zombie gore fest genre. We will find out how zombie-tastic (yeah I went there) the game is when it's released on September 6th. Check out the trailer below with actual game footage.
